Press release issued by Committee to Re-Elect Jennifer Robinson

“In the nearly ten years that I have served on Cary’s Town Council, I have worked to ensure that the Town provides the very best services and amenities with the lowest possible taxes.  I would like for all citizens to feel as if living in the Town of Cary is the best value for their tax dollars.”

Jennifer’s attention to neighborhood development and quality communities stretches back to her early involvement in Town business.  As a citizen advocate, she successfully lobbied the Council to plan and build Louis Stephens Drive and influenced the design of Green Hope Elementary.  She went on to serve on Cary’s Growth Management Task Force and was then appointed to fill an empty seat on Cary’s Town Council.  Since then, she has been re-elected twice to represent the citizens of downtown and western Cary.

My focus on Council has been protecting the quality of life for which people come to Cary and enhancing our community,” Jennifer said. Jennifer has worked to bring several schools to western Cary, helped establish the West Regional Library, advanced important road networks and spearheaded initiatives that protect our environment and our trees.  During her tenure on Council, the Town has not raised taxes and has established Cary as a AAA town with the lowest tax rate in Wake County.  About our region’s growth, Jennifer said, “In spite of the increase in our population, people still enjoy a small town feel in Cary.”

Jennifer lives in western Cary with her husband, Paul, and their four children.  In her spare time, she volunteers and serves on the board of the Cary Community Foundation.
