Much of the debt that Cary is carrying is due to already committed (and publicly desired) road construction. We can not just "pull the plug" on widening Davis Drive, Hwy 55, Tryon Rd. etc... While we certainly can't continue to accumulate debt at the rate we have been, we have a certain amount that's already there and requires additional funding to cover. With that in mind, I've listed in the accompanying poll several issues that I think deserve attention. If I missed your favorite issue, let me know and I'll consider adding it.

Well, if you had included the all-important "Give Hyatt more camera time at P&Z meetings", I would have voted for that instead. :)

You missed an important choice, blocking that damned train station. The city should spend NOTHING on it and should try to break up the effort to deploy that incredible waste of cash.
