In March I wrote to Dick Moore, town traffic engineer, complaining about the new signal cycle and Maynard & Evans (discussed in a thread in "Local Issues"). At that time, he told me that the town agreed with me and was trying to get the state DOT to change it back to the way it was.
He just recently wrote back to me with a welcome follow-up, letting me know that the DOT will in fact be changing the light cycle back and that the schedule for doing so was next month.
Maybe you don't think this is a huge deal, and it probably isn't. But it was a welcome follow-up to my concern.
