Jack Smith and McMayor must be jumping up and down in joy over Harold's decision not to run for District C. Unless a "white knight" suddenly appears on the scene, district C is buttoned up. No one is in sight with the name recognition and crdentials to challenge Jack. Too bad for all of us.

With Matt Danielson withdrawing, attention will now be drawn to Jennifer Robinson's and Julie Robison's seats...particularly who will run against Jennifer.

Also HW's decision does not bode well for subsidies and even Tax Increment Financing being used to bring TCAP into being. My earlier prediction that the big push on TCAP would not come until after the election seems more and more likely to come true. JulieR has been leaning in this direction. Mike Joyce has camaigned against TIF's but seems to rationalize almost anything when McMayor puts the pressure on.

Alas!
