2005 North Carolina Coastal Boating Guide Now Available

Raleigh–Visitors to North Carolina’s miles of coastline, as well as those who call it home, will find the 2005 Coastal Boating Guide an excellent source of information. The guide contains information on marinas, state parks, cultural and natural resources and other places of interest along North Carolina’s coast. It also contains contact information for the N.C. Ferry System, the Coast Guard and other important agencies.

“The boating guide is an excellent resource for anyone planning a trip to North Carolina’s coast,” said Transportation Secretary Lyndo Tippett. “We are proud to partner with the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission to provide such a comprehensive publication to the citizens of North Carolina.”

The cover of this year’s guide features both a boat cruising down the Inter-coastal Waterway and boats docked at sunset in the town of Washington. Both photos showcase the beauty of North Carolina’s coast.

The N.C. Department of Transportation produces the guide in conjunction with the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission.

To receive a copy of the 2005 Coastal Boating Guide, call 1-877-DOT-4YOU or write to NCDOT Customer Service Office at 1503 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, N.C., 27699.
