...and speaking of above-the-fold color photos, those Scouts featured on page B1 (article continued with more photos inside) for their trip to Philmont are some of "my" Scouts. I have been the Scout leader for one of those Scouts (he's now an Eagle Scout) ever since he was a Tiger Cub Scout in first grade (despite that, he's turned out to be a fine young man :D ).

The caption says the protest march is being led by "Dave Hyatt". Anybody know anything him? I can't be sure but the picture looks like he may be one of the guys that does Apple Safari development.

What is the old saying: The press can say whatever they want about me, just as long as the spell my name correctly (+/-).

Funny, I forgot all about that letter. I think I submitted it 3 weeks ago.

Brent - it's a good feeling knowing you positively influenced a young person's life. That was a well written story.

I figured he was the anti-Don Hyatt from a parallel universe. :lol:

I know enough to say his name is spelled Hiatt vice Hyatt. The Cary News must have had you in mind Don. :lol:
