Will this be taped and televised for those that can't be there?
The League of Women Voters of Wake County and the American Association of University Women of Wake County are hosting a Wake County Board of Education Candidates’ Forum to allow candidates to express their views on important issues.
The Forum will be held on:
Saturday, September 10, 2005
10:00 am – Noon
YWCA Auditorium, 1012 Oberlin Road , Raleigh
Audrey Kates will be the moderator. All candidates for Districts 1, 2, 7 and 9 will be invited to be on the panel and respond to questions.
The formal part of the Forum will start promptly at 10:00 am . The Forum will begin with one or two-minute opening presentations from each candidate. Questions developed by the League and AAUW will be directed to the candidates by the moderator. Questions from the audience will follow, again delivered by the moderator. Candidates will then be given the opportunity to give a closing statement.
