A banner day.

If you consider Town Council member Mike Joyce ("MAJ") a "CP person", he has a letter describing his secret plot to lower home prices in Cary (KIDDING Mike! ).

HW and Stan have letters, refusing to be "Hood"-winked

And yours truly goes after a favorite target, Cary's ridiculous sign ordinance (complete with "graphic elements" :) ).

Great LTE Brent! I was back in the states several weeks ago (and only for 4 days) and those new Cary information signs jumped out at me like a sore thumb. I did figure out that they just happen to be near that fiber line that Cary spent muko bucks to have installed a few years back.

My point is that I was away for 8 months and I could not help but notice the new signs when I was there. This means that they are not astatically pleasing and do not blend in with the surroundings. And how many times have you heard that argument against something NOT wanted by the CTC!

I am confused (now, that's news, right?). Is Carpenter in the Cary Town limits? I thought Carpenter was part of Morrisville. I do realize that some people think that Morrisville also belongs to Cary, but that's a topic for another day.

Carpenter is indeed in Cary town limits. Nearly all of the area considered "Carpenter" was annexed by Cary many years ago. It's absolutely part of Cary (hence it needs to be rid of pole signs and painted beige  ).

I think that it is most interesting that one of the new informational signs has been erected next to the south bound lane of NC 54 in downtown Morrisville.
