Mt Rogers hike subject of Backpacker magazine article

This is a wonderful hike, now in an article in "Backpacker" magazine. I did the hike to the summit last month, during the full Rhododendron bloom, and it was a fantastic trip. Although we're now past the prime flowering season, it's still a great climb. Wild ponies, great views along the way (although not from the summit), and not all that far (Roanoke, VA).
