There is a move now by the Reagan Legacy Project, which is gathering Senatorial support, to have Reagan's face on the $10 bill.
Why is this stupid?
Well, Alexander Hamilton, the current face on the bill, was the proto-Republican amongst the founding fathers. He was the kind of guy the GOP should idolize, he was behind the creation of the US Navy, the Coast Guard, he was the first Treasury Secretary and was co-author of the Federalist papers.
Why remove him? Because it's easy. The Donkeys won't fight for a guy like Hamilton.
What the GOP is too stupid to figure out is that if they pushed to have Andrew Jackson removed from the $20 they'd win PLUS get to humiliate the Donkeycrats simultaneously.
Every year Donkeycrat parties have "Jefferson-Jackson" dinners/fundraisers across the nation. Donkeycrat politicians often claim to be Jacksonian Democrats (populists). They get away with this only because most Americans are historically illiterate.
Jackson was a slave owning Southern Democrat who led what can charitably be called a genocidal war against Indians in the South.
The GOP, if they weren't political chumps, would stand up and demand that a man who freed slaves (those held in bondage by communism) should replace a man who held slaves. Make the Donkeycrats stand up and defend keeping a slaveowner on the $20 bill.
I don't think the GOP could be any dumber if they tried sometimes. The donkeycrats are an ideological joke, all it would take is for the GOP to actually pull it's head out of it's rear and they'd have destroyed the donkeycrats several election cycles ago. The GOP, unfortunately, has a way of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory time after time after time.
