Today, at Noon, the Wake Citizen's for Quality Education will hold a rally at the Herbert C. Young Community Center, 101 Wilkinson Ave. in Cary. So after Cary Band Day events come on down, hold up a sign or take one home, and vote early (but not often as some would like you do).

I'm hoping the Super "NO" Truck will be there.

Send a message: NO in NOvember

And remember: Billion Dollar Bond + your NO Vote = Slower Growth in Wake County

Thank you and may the God of your choice Bless you!

Wup,

Apparently the "Super 'NO' truck" was asked to leave the Apex Town Hall today--they were told that they couldn't sit on government property. How is a truck different from campaign signs? I hope they'll be allowed to stay in Cary.

How is it that the pro-bond signs are all over government property (theschool properties look like confetti mills with all the signs), but yet they can take the partisan stance of telling the sign truck it can't stay? And the Tony Gurley ads? This is one that the Board of Elections needs to decide, and they need to take financial action against FOWC, and the BoE/WCPSS. they've violated election laws, as well as the laws of common sense, to try and push this bond. NO in NOvember, and NO FOREVER to the ARROGANCE of Wake County builders and their money train.

These idiots can send all the leg-breaking goons they want, and I'd still find a way to crawl to the polls to say NO to this madness....

The Super "Tax" Sign was Ok in Cary. Had to park it on Academy Street due to size. They didn't have a big rally, but it was nice to meet some of the folks. A lot of other candidates where also there for Early Voting. I got to meet Nelson Dollar, NOtoMYR husbands, and John Havillian. Good folks, all.

When I left, about 3400 folks had voted early.

Well, more signs to put out - Chow!

Come on down to the Barbecue Lodge of Raleigh (Mini-City) at 6:30 tonight. The Wake County Taxpayers Association will be there having their monthly meeting. Tonight's Guest: Tim Phillips, President of "Americans for Prosperity." Mr. Phillips will talk about: "Defending the Dream: The grassroots efforts to take back the nation in the name of limited government and free markets, one town, and one state at a time." I don't know about you, but Gov. Easley, GWB, Mayor Ernie, and the WCPSS School Board have certainly been shattering my dreams. You never know who you will meet at these gatherings.
