My son studying Japanese sent this to me. Rock'on & Enjoy:
Smoke on the Water - Japanese Version (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5QjvTDulFg)
This band would make for an interesting night at the Booth Theater.

How is it that every kid who picks up a guitar instinctively knows how to play this? It drives me nuts everytime I hear my son playing it. I'm thinking of officially banning it at my house.

My college sons are on spring break and are passing thru the homestead. I have gotten many of "hey Dad, have you seen this....."
This is some of them (please note: only Sci-fi fans will really appreciate this):

Do your sons play Dungeons and Dragons, too?

Yes, number One son did in middle school, but once computer games began to follow the "D&D" formats he and his brothers, went in that direction.
However, for those of us that did play "D&D" it has been a sad week since the Father of D&D lost his last saving throw this week.

Somewhere buried in my treasure chest, sleep a 1.5" inch lead Cleric (with mace & Shield) named Ahimsa. Many a good night spent with friends, dice & beer, so long ago.
Rest in Peace, E. Gary Gygax.

Bush tours America to survey damage caused by his disastrous presidency.
It's good - even if you're one of the 23% still supporting him.

I hear McCain has a response to this but I haven't seen it yet. Both major party campaigns should be ashamed that PARIS HILTON came up with a sensible energy plan before they did. And those that continue to support democrats and republicans, recognize that Paris Hilton has proven herself a better leader in a small amount of time than your candidate. Embarrassing.
