Some newer readers may not get humor but for us oldtimers...

Count your blessings.
John B. Cary has a economically disadvantaged enrollment of 60%. Its reading and math scores are 68 and 74 pct. meeting annual yearly progress. Another elementary school in Hampton has 18% disadvantaged enrollment and its scores are 89 and 92.
BTW both schools have an enrollment of about 400 and it seems unlikely they have trailers.

P.S. Hampton spends about $1300 annually more per student costs, ~ $29,000 more per classroom, on annual operating costs than Wake.

...and we see who the humor is lost on by the follow-ups the original posting in the humor section. Anyone really surprised? :bigsmurf:
By the way, I ran into John B. in the Lowes parking lot over the weekend. He is doing well.
Am I to assume that we can type in any random school name and expect a lecture on it?

I remember JohnB (including his "JohnforCary" motto), and I thought this was funny.
David, maybe this will get things back on the humor track?

Joe, thanks for the memories.
Better yet, you should find the sign on the CT TPK that said "S.NORWAK". Every time we passed it our kids would get all excited.
Even more interesting is when Marcia went to community college there and they asked for her name.
BTW, South Norwalk has one of the highest minority and low income populations in CT. The shortage of service and retail clerks was so great in the town where we lived, Ridgefield, that Wal-Mart bused in help from South Norwalk.
BTW, Fairfield County, aka the Gold Coast of CT. had zero county government...except the courthouse. The school boards had taxing authority. I'd supply the details of the S. Norwalk schools but it would only upset David.
