Have you seen the new public art on West Chatham Street? It is quite moving to view. The artist is truly inspired. Make sure to go by and see it.

Saw it. Love it. Beats the heck out of stainless steel mummies, dandelions and other odd shapes.

Best of all, I understand that it didn't cost me one nickel.

Now THAT'S the kind of art that Cary needs more of.

My hat is off to the artist.

Ain't that the truth, Holly!

I would much rather have some genuine "art" from someone who really cares about Cary, that I can enjoy for free, than a pile of twisted metal that's supposed to represent...what?...the product of a drunken steelworker? ("Dancing Beams", my big old butt! More like "Scrap Metal Randomly Arranged, and Painted Red").

My hat remains off to the artist of the W. Chatham St. art...and unlike other unnamed people on this forum, that doesn't cause a glare.

Why thank you for all the positive comments on my sculpture. I am actually quite proud of it. I believe it truly represents the industrial/automotive heritage of downtown. The piece is titled "taking a brake" (brake is intentionally spelled wrong - come by and see why!)

C'mon guys, no pictures yet????

That would entail having the Frantz establishment pictured on this web site...we do have standards.

Maybe once there is a bistro on the site Don. ;)
