Nels then disclosed that he had talked to a pastor and promised not to connect and he didn’t want to go to hell by lying to a pastor, so he would vote for the motion. The motion passed 5-2, with Michael Joyce and Jennifer Robinson voting against the pastor and hence being required to go to confession...
