On the front of the ad...RE-ELECT REPRESENTATIVE TY HARRELL
FIGHTING FOR WHAT REALLY MATTERS TO USOn the inside? Not one word, nada, zip, Z E R O about what Harrell is actually doing or has done. Nothing but trashing developers, home builders, and realtors - and Bryan Gossage for accepting campaign contributions from them.
Ridiculous.

I got the Hagan flyer, agree it was pretty lame. Considering how expensive it must have been to produce it, I don't think she's going to get much bang for the buck anyway.
I didn't get the Ty Harrell flyer, wonder why :) If he's focused on growth issues he's about a year behind the times.

Ty trys like heck to get the endorsement, doesn't get it, then turns around and slams his opponent for getting it. I don't get it.

"It is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma; but perhaps there is a key. -- Winston Churchill, 1939 (Talking about Russia, not Hitler)
Sorta what I think of Ty Harrell. What is the "key" to Harrell? Money, Power, Sex, or just plain ego?
Based what I saw of him the dark and terrible night last winter at Green Hope High School, he is nothing more to me than another "inside-the-beltline" elitist from Raleigh. He had nothing but pure contempt for those who spoke out against the Wake County School Board that night (student reassignments and Davis Drive folks in full force). I can remember watching him laugh in the background of the library with someone else while parents comments were being made. The only time when he seemed to actually listen is when Erv Portman stepped up to the plate for the abused parents of Cary and gave several BoE members and Del Burns both barrels.
The taxpayers of Western Wake need to send this guy packing back to Raleigh.

His node hasn't been redistricted in ten years and has NEVER been forced to MYR, so perhaps he underestimates just how dissatisfied thousands of Wake County parents are.

Several months ago I was at CharGrill on Hillsborough St and some guy in a Jaguar rolls up, orders, and man could he work the room (or in this case the lot). So polished, so smooth, so creepy.... what an operator. Later on I found out it was Mr. Harrell.

Just to clarify, as noted in the other thread: Kay Hagen didn't produce the 4-page flyer; a group called "Majority Action" did.

Don - As the front of the literature states, this was put out by the Dem Party, not Ty's campaign.

Is there a difference? Seriously?

Don,
Thanks for posting. Understand this was put out by the democratic party, maybe as a response to the merry-go-round flyer (?).
