In a time when we are being treated to the spectacle of bailouts of failing corporations, banks getting our tax money to buy other banks, and then raising credit card rates while rejecting mortgage applications, and watching our friends and neighbors foreclosed on their homes while our own home values go down, and we get (drum roll please....) a new head of the Treasury, and the man who runs the IRS itself, who doesn't pay his taxes, made no plans to pay his taxes, and gets the job anyway! Only in Obamerica!!!!

Gotta admit, this is surreal. And the Republicans can barely put up a fight. As Kirtl points out, the Dems are driving the train right now. They will get a clean sweep on cabinet appointments (minus Richardson :laughing7:). President Obama has an open checkbook. If four years from now our economy has rebounded and we are not another 4 trillion dollars in debt, I'll vote for a second Obama term.
