Sunday's N&O quotes former Wake Co. Planning Board member Stan Norwalk (twice, I believe) in their front-page story on...sewers (really!).

Let me guess....there's some conspiracy involving the water treatment plant or process?

The article discusses so-called "mini" private sewer treatment plants that developers are using in rural areas in Wake and Chatham counties so that they can build suburban-style subdivisions in rural areas that, without sewer, would allow only much lower density (that is, with the treatment plants, they can build multiple homes per acre, whereas without them -- using septic systems -- they could build only multiple acres per home).

Let me guess, Stan was agin' it huh? I make it a practice to NOT read the NandO. That course of action has struck me as being an affirmative step in ensuring postive mental health.
