Motorists can expect significant delays throughout this afternoon and evening in the southbound lanes of Walnut Street in Cary from Cary Towne Center to Crossroads Plaza. Thru traffic is encouraged to use alternate routes as workers establish traffic patterns for roadway improvement construction along Walnut Street and Piney Plains Roads.
