This is a riot :-) We've been trading the same Chia Pet with an in-law for going on about 10 years, going to great lengths to trick him (and then him, us) into unwrapping it on Christmas morning. He might be in for a surprise this year ;-)

Personally, I think they should apply the "Chia treatment" to his nose, and watch it grow as the new "PinochiObama Pet", owing to the distance between financial facts and administration fiction. We're trillions in debt, and hyper-inflation is just around the corner. Bernanke attested to the fact that massive sums of money are now being printed. What you and I have struggled to earn and save is now being rendered worthless, so as to pay off the new bailout debts Obama has racked up with worthless money.
