SteveG has an eminently reasonable letter to the editor about the new, progressive idea that a red light means "stop".

Wuptdo joins Bill McNeal and Cynthia Matson in the battle of the editorials about the public school situation.

Having just got caught up on my reading, I noticed my LTE this week was edited. It was missing the last two (key) paragraphs. Here is what was actually deleted:

Wup also had:

There are numerous other ways we can also improve our schools in the near future. First, we place a three to five year moratorium on all residential building in Wake County. This moratorium would not only help schools, but also give local infrastructure (roads, water, sewer) an opportunity to catch up with the Wake County’s explosive growth. Second, we ask our State “leadership,” permission to collect “impact” fees from builders and developers. That way, new development will pay up front the cost of infrastructure.

I am sure Home Builders Association and their Realtors can come up with some solutions as well.

Oh well!
