Part of Mayor McAllister's campaign platform was to institute a "20/20" plan for the Town of Cary. Does anyone know exactly what that is, or heard anything about this since the election last year? :-/

Yes, it has been enacted.

Cut by at least 20 percent of the road construction budget.

Increase by at least 20 percent the "Let's blow money on Crap*" budget.

*by Crap I mean Inconsequential Public Art, the Aquatics Palace, the Doggie Park, and the soon to be proposed Municipal Golf facility.

Good one, John!

As I recall, Cary 2020 was supposed to be a businessperson/citizen group that would establish a "vision" for Cary. I would have thought that after 300 or so days in office, we would have heard more about this from the mayor, but I haven't heard a whisper about it since the election.

If I were in a bashing mood, I would also point out that I-540 isn't completed and the Town's debt hasn't been reduced, but I won't point out those.
