Posting under "Local Issues" in the hope that people will remember to be informed and vote for local offices, not just the national ones..

VOTE EARLY IN CARY BEGINNING NEXT WEEKEND

One-stop absentee voting lets you cast your ballot at a time that works for you and avoid long lines on Election Day, Nov. 2, 2004.

Starting today, you can vote early at the Wake County Board of Elections office on Salisbury Street in downtown Raleigh,

However, the one-stop voting location in Cary does not open until next weekend, when you'll be able to vote at the Town of Cary’s Herb Young Community Center on Town Hall campus according to the following schedule:
Saturday, Oct. 23, Sunday, Oct. 24; or Saturday, Oct. 30: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Monday through Friday, Oct. 25-29: 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Visit www.wakegov.com or call (919) 856-6240 for complete voting information.

Thanks soooo much for posting that!

I was really starting to worry over how in the world I was going to manage to drag a 16 month old and 1 month old to the polls and actually manage to vote without my son covering himself in "I Voted" stickers or something.

I figured I'd just vote absentee, but then you don't get those nifty "I Voted" stickers.

You do still get stickers if you vote early, right???

Really, thanks again for the great info! :-D
