Wow, a good week for CP'ers.

Holly (I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!) Nielsen got her picture and most of an article about signs dedicated to her! Way to "Fight the Power" Holly. Article title "Whale of an Issue" for some reason. :D

Brent (Not in my backyard) Miller is also feature about the rezoning of the Lowe's HIW complex to include a Aldi grocery store. Special note: "3 out of 25 e-mails", had no problem with the Aldi supermarket at that location. I quess the other 88% didn't matter. :cry:

Brent was also mentioned somewhere elsewhere about supermarkets in our area, but I can't find it (relatives at the door :-'' ).

Will edit when I have more time (time to break out the hard liquor). :roll:

Newbie d4vendel is also mentioned in the article about Aldi. It is fascinating, isn't it, Wup, that all citizens at the public hearing were against Aldi, and 22 of 25 e-mails (thus far) oppose Aldi, and yet I know that there will be those who characterize this as "evenly divided". I've played this game before (but I'm much better at finding out for myself now :wink: ).

MattD is mentioned in the article about P&Z and density in NW Cary (more fascination: Staff doesn't want lower density as proposed in this case, because it wouldn't fit their land use plan. Anyone want to take bets on Staff recommending denial of Aldi, because it doesn't fit their land use plan?).

The sign article featuring Holly was fantastic.
