This issue contained several submissions (stories and general ideas) from CP posters. My staff and I are thankful for the material; it allows us to concentrate on all the hard news and investigative reporting.

For those who haven't figured it out, CP News is published occasionally, but it often comes out soon after council meetings.

In honor of the recent passing of Eddie Cloontz, the editor of the Weekly World News, someone should do an expose on the Ruth's Chris Steak House event.

Did the RINO *really* order one of everything off the desert menu? How did Shoeboy find time to eat while running around with his colorwheel double checking the interior and exterior decor and color schemes? Was the Soccer Mommy really the only Council member to NOT give Hyatt a Lap Dance? Was Ernie intimidated when JULIEFORCARY! sampled all the martinis the barkeep knew how to make and screamed: 'Get out of town and go back to your f'ing yacht!'? What did the manager think of MJ after being berated for half an hour on his "substandard plumbing"? What did Coleman mean when he said " This is what those cameras are for g@$#^##!!!! Show me the MONEY! " Was that the Whiner out on the curb crying? And of course, ever notice how you never see Jack Smith and Bat Boy together ???

This is a city council that could only be improved upon by having someone named Wally on it. :)

Yes well it's all in good fun and it is all clearly nonsensical, as is the Weekly World News. Well, all except that part about Hyatt getting lap dances from the council critters of course.
