Default Barack "Bringing Chicago Politics to DC" Obama

We did say it here first almost two years ago.... Well actually I said it and more than once. It now seems the "rest" of the press is finally figuring it out.

    From AP News...
Obama dealmaking look like politics as usual

What a non-story. Don - is this fake outrage or just bored today and wanted to post something?

I guess it's 'fake' outrage because I'm not outraged. I knew this is who he was from the get go.

Well, like the article pointed out... just about EVERY President has done the same thing.

Which would be fine sans the point that Obama campaigned heavily and promised repeatedly that he wouldn't be like that. After all the hopey, changey hype, he turns out to be just another 2-bit politician who can't give a speech to school kids without resorting to multiple teleprompters...

Any truly objective analysis pegs him as the closest thing to a Manchurian Candidate that we've ever had the misfortune to endure and his whole philosophy can be summed up as "if you're rich and Republican, you're evil and I want to take your money and give to those that will vote for me."

...and in the words of Charles Barkley, that's just a turrible platform.

So much for being truly objective... I'm curious which "Manchurian Candidate" definition you are using:

    1. One who has been brainwashed into preforming actions (such as assassination) upon recieving a special code word or phrase. The candidate acts and behaves normally before recieving the trigger, with no knowledge of what he will do, or what he has done while under the influence of mind control.

    2. A candidate running for office who publicly supports one group to win election, but uses his executive or legislative powers to assist an opposing group; it should not be confused with a sleeper agent who has been brainwashed into working for a political party

    or

    3. Are you referring to the movie The Manchurian Candidate (1959) by Richard Condon, which is a political thriller novel about the son of a prominent US political family who has been brainwashed into being an unwitting assassin for the Communist Party.

Not sure if Manchurian Candidate is being used correctly... so in the words of Charles Barkley, that's just a turrible analogy.
